Diagnostic Services

We are equipped to provide the following diagnostic tests and procedures directly at our clinic, allowing for fast results and prompt treatment when needed:

      Digital Radiographs (X-rays)
      • We offer high-quality imaging to evaluate bones, joints, chest, and abdominal structures.
      • Remote radiology consultations with a board-certified radiologist are available, typically with a 1–2 day turnaround (or STAT for critical cases).
          Comprehensive Blood Work

          Including:

          • Chemistry panels (liver, kidney, pancreas, etc.)
          • CBC (complete blood count)
          • Thyroid testing (Total T4 or TSH)
          • Electrolyte analysis (sodium, chloride, potassium)
          • Endocrine (Cortisol, ACTH stim, and Dexamethasone suppression tests)
            Laboratory Testing
            • Fecal analysis
            • Urinalysis
            • Skin and ear cytologies
            • FeLV/FIV testing (feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus)
            • Heartworm testing

            Ultrasound & Specialty Imaging

            For advanced imaging, we partner with a trusted mobile internist and ultrasonography specialist, Dr. Naidoo, who can perform in-clinic ultrasounds when needed.

            We also maintain relationships with several local specialty clinics and can refer your pet to our veterinary team for more extensive ultrasound studies or advanced imaging, such as CT or MRI, when appropriate.

            Referral & Specialty Testing

            If your pet requires more extensive or specialized laboratory testing, we coordinate services with a reliable reference lab. Sending out tests can often reduce costs and expand diagnostic capabilities beyond what is available in-house — all while ensuring quality results.
